This soft-ripened cheese is flecked with fine champignon mushrooms that add a mild but refined earthy mushroom flavor. Called white or button mushrooms in the US, champignon mushrooms are hand-picked in Germany at the optimum time to ensure the very best quality and mushroom flavor. Warm this cheese to room temperature for a buttery soft & earthy delight.
What to expect:
White, bloomy edible exterior. Creamy yellow-white soft interior with fine flecks of brown champignon mushroom throughout.
Pairings: Pair it with a white wine or champagne. Serve it at room temperature with baguette, crudité, charcuterie. Excellent topping for a pizza or over chicken breast or asparagus.
